2021 will bring our 26th Annual Golf Tournament, a Diaper Drive benefiting Yolo Crisis Nursery, the Live Your Dream Award, sewing Dress a Girl Foundation, and many more great events benefitting our local and global communities!
Annually we fund a minimum of two $2,000 awards for Live your Dream as well as providing funding for Dream It Be It in Yolo County, and a $1000 scholarship for high school senior.

Live Your Dream provides education and training awards for women. This program provides cash grants for women who are working to better their lives through additional schooling and skills training.
When you support the Live Your Dream community, you join a group of like-minded individuals who dream of making the world a better place for women and girls.

The Yolo Crisis Nursery is a place of hope and help for families in Yolo County, CA. Day and night, 365 days a year, they provide safe, temporary care for children up through age 5. They help parents manage emergencies, keep up with their jobs, learn a new job, get medical care, or just get a break. All services are voluntary and free.

CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
Saturday, July 17th at the Davis Municipal Golf Course
OUR 26TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
The members of the Soroptimist International of Greater Davis club want to thank all the golfers for their support of our 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit our charity programs, such as the Live Your Dream Program, an educational award given to a woman who has overcome personal obstacles and a scholarship to a high school senior from Davis; MDIC (Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center) which serves Yolo County abuse victims, and the Davis Youth Softball Association.
The top golfers were Steve Roberts and Casey Cross in the Handicap category and Jason Betschart and Scott Smith in the Callaway Category.
Winners of the Most Accurate Drive were Melody Kasick (Woman) and Randall Vessels (Man). Closet to the Pin winners were Kristian Silva (Woman) and Mitch Campbell (Man).
Our regular meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7 PM. Due to COVID, this meeting is held via ZOOM.
On the first Wednesday, we hold our business meeting which includes a financial review, minutes, old and new business, and any current or future events.
On the third Wednesday, a program meeting is held. This may include a guest speaker or a fun member event. Due to COVID, this meeting is currently suspended.
